Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026
This policy explains how SCALR ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data in connection with this website, scalr.sg, and our services. We comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (PDPA).
What we collect
- Enquiries and bookings. When you contact us by email, WhatsApp, an enquiry form, or book a call through our booking page, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, contact number, email address, business name, and the content of your message.
- Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe, we receive your email address, the page you subscribed from, and the website that referred you, and we use them only to send you the newsletter and to understand which pages people sign up from.
- Website analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site, such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device type. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally to us.
- Session recording. We use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors move through the site, including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and the pages visited, and replays those sessions to us so we can see where the site is confusing. Recordings are not aggregated. Clarity masks text you type into form fields, so we do not see what you enter, and we do not use recordings to identify you.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask about.
- To deliver services under an agreement with you, including websites and advertising campaigns.
- To send you the newsletter you subscribed to. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand and improve how this website performs.
We do not sell personal data. We do not send marketing messages you did not ask for.
Client work and enquiry data
Where we build or manage a website or advertising campaigns for a client business, the enquiry data those systems collect (such as names and contact numbers submitted by that business's customers) belongs to the client business, not to SCALR. We process it only to deliver the agreed services, and we return or delete it on the client's written request.
Third-party services
This website and our services rely on a small number of service providers, which process data on our behalf:
- Google (Analytics, Ads, Workspace) for analytics, advertising measurement, and email.
- Microsoft Clarity for session recording and heatmaps.
- Cal.com for call bookings.
- WhatsApp for messages you choose to send us there.
- Our hosting and domain providers, which serve this website.
Each provider handles data under its own privacy terms. We share only what is needed to run these services.
Cookies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies set by the analytics services above. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete it. Business records connected to invoicing are kept for the periods required by Singapore law.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent for its use. Write to us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Contact
Our data protection contact is Keith Loh, reachable at hello@scalr.sg. If you have a concern we cannot resolve, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with an updated date above.
